Observer program expression of interest outcome

The outcome of the recent Call for Expressions of Interest to Market Test the AFMA Scientific Observer Program (RfEOI 2014- 20874) has been decided.

The purpose of the expression of interest was to determine the range of service providers available within the market with the capability to meet the program requirements. AFMA has completed an assessment of the capability of responses received and as a result has now shortlisted a number of applicants.

Pending further information sought from shortlisted applicants, AFMA may:

1. decide not to outsource the Observer Program
2. conduct a limited Request For Tender process inviting one or more shortlisted respondents to submit a tender in relation to the requirement for an Observer Program; or
3. conduct an open market Request For Tender process through AusTender in relation to the requirement for the Observer Program.

AFMA will advise of the outcome in due course.
