After a lot of hard work and commitment from the commercial seafood industry to establish a national peak body, nominations are now being sought for board members of the proposed Seafood Industry Australia body (SIA). This project is being supported by the Australian Government.

Since SIA is not yet an official legal entity, nominations are being sought for ‘Pro Tem’ Directors of SIA. It is envisaged that the Pro Tem Directors will go on to be the Inaugural Directors of SIA once the organisation has been incorporated and its constitution adopted.
