Fellow AFMA Commissioners and AFMA Staff welcomed the news that AFMA Chair, The Hon Michael Egan AO FAICD, was recently awarded the position of Officer (AO) in the General Division of the Order of Australian at the recent Australia Day Awards.
Michael received the award for distinguished service to the Parliament of New South Wales through a range of senior Ministerial roles, to tertiary education administration and medical research, and to the community.
