The levy rates for 2015-16 have been set.
The total levy for the 2015-16 will be divided into three instalments. The first of the three invoices will be sent out on 13 January 2016, with payment due on 10 February 2016. Invoices two and three will follow in March and April 2016.
While levies in some fisheries have gone up, there has been an overall net decrease in the amount to be collected from the Commonwealth fishing industry for 2015-16.
AFMA remains committed to providing efficient and cost effective fisheries management and continues to work closely with the Commonwealth Fisheries Association (CFA) to identify opportunities for future efficiencies.
Further detail on how your fishery is affected, including individual concession rates, is contained in the AFMA Levy Arrangements Guide 2015-16, available on AFMA’s website
